WHY?

If you’re here we can probably count you as a “super fan”, meaning you can’t stop thinking about HEART, BABY!, talking about it, and you want other people to see it as well. Right?

We have been overwhelmed by the testimonials during our festivals and special events. As the director Angela Shelton has said many times during Q&A’s and on Social Media, there is no end to LOVE and when you love Heart, Baby!, now a piece of the heart is YOURS! What are you going to do with your Heart, Baby?

We have put together a superb team to give you the tools to have your own events. In a lot of ways, this is better than a nationwide release in 2000+ theaters all at the same time like big studio movies, because this way each event has HEART, BABY!

  • YES you will be able to see HEART, BABY! on VOD!

  • YES you can see it in the comfort of your own home!

  • AND YES we know how our audiences love above all the communal experience of sharing this together on the big screen … because you can’t help but talk about it after seeing it, right?

  • YES - You asked for it - We found a way!

Fans like YOU can host screenings of your Favorite Film (THE HAMMER aka HEART, BABY!) and in addition to creating this personal, unbelievable experience with the the film’s team, (Angela Shelton will definitely be calling you), you get to open more hearts, Baby!




HOW MUCH DOES IT COST ?

You just need to have a group of people whether that is through yourself or an organization that will purchase tickets for an event.

You can chose a small or large theater depending on your event.

You just select your theater, date and time, and Gathr will take care of all the logistics. Again: IT COSTS YOU NOTHING!

The way it works is that Gathr takes advantage of not only independent cinemas but big multiplexes like AMC or REGAL’s availabilities, MONDAYS through THURSDAYS, as screening rooms are never all sold out during weekdays.

You just have to reach out to your network (real life and social media) - how fun! - Sell enough tickets in advance and your screening is green lit!

Your event is considered a private event with the theater so all tickets are sold online through your Gathr event page, not at the theater itself.

If you don’t sell enough by the deadline, then no one is charged and the screening is cancelled. No risk to anyone! 

But we want all Heart, Baby! events to go live! So we are here to help.

The best way to start is to know what your goal for your event is. What do YOU want to do in your Heart, Baby!?

Do you want to raise money and awareness for an organization? Do you want to have an event for friends and family? Do you want to have a coming out party for a returning citizen or someone transitioning?

It’s all up to you - it’s your event!

BONUS - you can have a portion of the ticket go to a cause of your choice!! As you know HEART, BABY! brings up LOTS of causes, so pick one of many.

  • Support a local or national PRISON REFORM organization and have a talk afterwards.

  • Host a TRANSGENDER Rights and Awareness award ceremony.

  • Bring your CHURCH and testify!

  • Support CHILD ADVOCACY CENTERS like we are doing in Plattsburg on April 26th.

  • We will also create a Facebook Event - with the director Angela Shelton as your official co-host…. And she knows A LOT of people everywhere.

SOCIAL MEDIA promotion is the best for this kind of event and we are happy to help.

Once the minimum number of tickets have been sold, your screening gets the Green Light! 

AND THEN WHAT?

The after screening is up to you but we suggest that you definitely request a Q&A session and take advantage of the 20 minute talk time afterwards.

If your event is a fundraiser, you can direct people afterwards to meet you outside to share materials, go to an after party, or food and drink.
