Day 1 - Memphis Fight

Tennessee prisons in the 1980s allowed inmates Friday Night Fights. They would bus prison fighters to other prisons as well as bring in "free world" boxers.

In this Friday Night Fight George traveled to “The Farm” to fight inmate boxer Memphis, who he knocked out in one round.

Andy Doc Dixon had a prison band on the inside. He was allowed to travel and perform the same as his best friend, boxer George Lee Martin was allowed to travel for Friday Night Fights.
