Gbenga Akinnagbe

Gbenga was born in Washington, D.C. to Nigerian parents and grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is the second oldest of six children, one older sister and four younger brothers. One of Gbenga’s first successful forays into television was as a series regular on the HBO series “The Wire” playing the cold-blooded assassin ‘Chris Partlow’. He was also a series regular in the Showtime’s “Barbershop” and in the FOX event series “24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY”. Gbenga recurred on the critically acclaimed FOX series “The Following”, Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie” and the CBS beloved show “The Good Wife.”
